Recruitment to the post of Asstt. Engineer (Civil/Elec./Mech.) |

Applications, in the prescribed format, are invited by WBIIDC, (A State Govt. Undertaking) for recruitment to two vacant posts of Asstt. Engineer (Civil), and each vacant post of Asstt. Engineer (Mech.) and of Asstt. Engineer (Elec.) through written test, followed by interview. All appointments will initially be made, on temporary basis, but likely to be absorbed in the regular establishment of the Corporation and subject to posting to different works sites within the State of West Bengal.
Out of two posts of AE (C), one post is reserved for ST candidates and one is general. The posts of AE(E)/AE(M) is reserved for SC candidate.
Educational Qualification : A degree in (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical) Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent with at least 60% marks in aggregate.
Experience : At least 1 year experience in relevant line in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical works
Age : Not more than 32 years on the 1st September 2009. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC & ST candidates of West Bengal and by 3 years for OBC candidates of West Bengal.
Scale of Pay : PB Scale – Rs.9000-40,500/- + Grade Pay of Rs.5400/- + DA + HRA + other allowances as per Corporation's norms.
Duly filled in application which is available on www.wbiidc.org (appointment page) alongwith attested copies of (i) age proof, (ii) educational qualifications (iii) documents in support of the claim for having SC/ST status from competent authority (iv) self-addressed envelop with requisite postal stamp should be submitted in the above address by 09.11.09 (5-00 p.m.). Name of the post should be superscribed on the envelope containing the application. For the candidates who are employed in any Govt./Govt bodies etc. are required to submit 'NOC' from appointing authority prior to appointment, if selected. Incomplete application/applications received after due date & time as mentioned above will not be considered. Those who applied for the above post in reply to advertisement published in Anandabazar Patrika on 03.06.2009, are to apply afresh. The Corporation reserves the right to accept/reject any application without assigning any reasons whatsoever. |
