Corporation’s vision has crystallized around two key components:-
Quality and Viable growth.
Initially, Corporation took all the initiatives to set up industrial growth centres. All activities including land acquisition, development of roads, water supply, drainage and power supply, construction of factory shed and finally allotment to industrial units were undertaken by Corporation and industry basically followed suit.
With economic liberalization, the entire structure and model of industrialization is undergoing rapid changes. The Corporation has also attuned itself to the emerging trends and is now actively pursuing Public Private Partnership (PPP) involving collaboration with industry right from inception stage. This involves development of both social and industrial infrastructure, which are complementary and pre-requisite for integrated industrial and economic development. The Corporation has also built on its engineering strength to develop into a Design and Construction Agency undertaking diversified activities. It is also planning the first step towards starting Consultancy Services.
In line with the above, the Corporation has moved to a modern office complete with all necessary infrastructure and re-organization to suit the changed role and requirements of an e-enabled organization provide. |
